new Sony

Not long after the regional launch of the PlayStation portable device, Sony have announced plans to release a white version of the PS Vita in Japan on June 28th.
The current trend from within the market of handheld devices is providing various base colors to products. Sony has now revealed that it will be coming out with a white version of its recently launched PlayStation Vita.
Regardless of Sonys poor sales figures of the PS Vita, the company is going ahead with plans to introduce a white Vita, which will begin in Japan next month.
Concerning hardware features, the white version is identical to its black counterpart, featuring an ARM Cortex A9 processor and a 5-inch OLED touchscreen display. Front and rear cameras provide the user with an array of entertainment, in parallel to the rear touch-pad and dual-analogue controls.
The white PS Vita will be available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G versions at 24,980 Yen and 29,980 Yen respectively. A June 28 release date has been confirmed, however nothing has been announced for the region as of yet.
